


Constructed at a cost of £850, the open-air swimming baths in Aberdare Park opened in June 1902 and were operated by Aberdare Urban District Council.
The open air pool in the district, it remained open until the 1980s after which a new indoor pool meant the old open air one was used less and less.
The pool was demolished and filled in.
