Sutcliffe and Gledhill Ltd was a private limited company formed on 26th November 1945 and dissolved 25th February 2004. They were based in Idle, a suburb of Bradford hence the name of their product, Idlex. No other information exists for the company but they often advertised in Baths Bulletin, the shortened Baths and Baths Engineering Journal that was published from 1941 to 1949 whilst paper shortages due to WWII were an issue.
