A series of pools cut into the rocks by the miners of Geevor in the 1930’s to bathe after their shift. Some sources claim that the pools are natural but it is most likely that they started out that way and were extended or improved by the miners. Ronantically described as ‘carved’, more likely they were blown out with dynamite. The steps down to the pools certainly are not natural. The pool hosted racing and diving competitions during the 1940’s and had its own swimming club.

The pools are replenished at high tide. They are quite a trek from the nearest parking but steps carved into the rocks are still usable. Best access is at low tide.
